Mix the dry ingredients in one bowl and the wet ingredients in another bowl. That is to say: the egg, the milk and the peanut butter.

Mix the wet and dry ingredients briefly with a whisk, until you have a homogeneous pancake batter. Don’t mix for too long or your pancakes will be to chewy.

Heat a small amount of oil in a frying pan and pour in a tablespoon of the pancake batter. Wait for bubbles to form on the surface of the pancake, then turn it over. Allow to cook on the other side and scoop the pancake from the pan.

Serve the peanut butter pancakes with banana slices and a little syrup or molasses. Or chopped banana and some added peanut butter. Enjoy your meal!
